NIST is seeking vendors for a five-year Machining Basic Ordering Agreement to manufacture custom metal parts and assemblies for the Center for Neutron Research. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Center for Neutron Research - Products/Services Requested: - Machining of custom metal parts and assemblies using techniques such as milling, turning, welding, grinding, polishing, leak testing, painting, powder coating, anodizing, and CMM inspection - Specific parts include: - Sample Holder Pin (10 units) - Sample Holder Saw Tooth (5 units) - Vanad Can Upper FLNG250 (5 units) - Solid Sample Spacer 1mm (2 units) - Body Sample Can 0.35 ID (2 units) - Rocker Slider (10 units) - CD VJ Assembly (1 unit) - ASY VJ1 NORTH STAND (1 unit) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All materials must be domestic and new - Vendors must comply with QS 9000 or ISO 9001 quality standards - Adherence to NIST-provided drawings and specifications is mandatory - Six-month warranty required after acceptance - Delivery orders will specify technical details and quantities for each task - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named in the solicitation - Opportunity is a total small business set-aside
