The Bureau of Reclamation, under the Department of the Interior and the Animas La Plata Operation Maintenance and Replacement Association, is seeking a contractor for hydraulic system modifications at the Ridges Basin Dam. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Basin Regional Office - Animas La Plata Operation Maintenance and Replacement Association - Project Scope: - Modify the jet flow gate hydraulic system by replacing sections of 1.5-inch steel hydraulic piping with flexible hydraulic hoses - Allow for 12 inches of gate assembly movement without disconnecting the hydraulic system - Includes draining, refilling, cleaning, and testing the hydraulic system - Welding adapter fittings to existing piping and installing hose supports - Application of rust-preventive coating to steel piping - Provide one spare assembled hydraulic hose - Products and Materials Requested: - 1.5-inch inner diameter hydraulic hoses (2 units) - Adapter fittings for hydraulic piping (4 units) - Hydro-Safe ISO VG-46 Premium Biodegradable Hydraulic Fluid or approved equivalent - Rust Bullet DuraGrade urethane rust prevention coating or approved equivalent (black) - Spare assembled hydraulic hose (1 unit) - Hydraulic Hose and Flexible Tubing Replacement (NSN: 7540-01-152-8067, 1 unit) - Services Requested: - Hydraulic piping modification and hose installation, including all labor, materials, equipment, mobilization, demobilization, testing, repairs, and site cleanup - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Hydraulic fluid must be biodegradable (Hydro-Safe ISO VG-46 or equivalent) - Adapter fittings must be rated for 3,000 psi and disassemblable without proprietary tools - All work must be completed within a 90-day period of performance - Total small business set-aside
