Salt Lake City Corporation is seeking a contractor for a five-year agreement to provide maintenance, repair, and replacement services for its electric bicycle (eBike) fleet. - Government Buyer: - Salt Lake City Corporation, City Contracts Administrator, Purchasing - OEMs and Vendors: - Primary eBike models include EcoMotion and Magnum - Other equivalent eBike manufacturers may be considered - Products and Services Requested: - Maintenance and repair of eBikes, including diagnostics (using proprietary or third-party software), electrical and mechanical repairs (battery replacement, throttle and sensor repairs, flat tire changes, derailleur alignment, bearing replacements) - Biannual preventative maintenance to OEM specifications - Functional test rides after each service - Sales and delivery of new eBikes, including assembly to manufacturer specifications, battery health checks, firmware updates, and safety orientations - Sales of accessories: helmets, gloves, baskets, cargo racks, charging systems, lighting systems, reflectors - Supply of OEM or equivalent replacement parts - eBike pickup and return service for maintenance - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Minimum five years of relevant experience required for bidders - Warranty coverage for repair work and parts (minimum 90 days or longer if manufacturer warranty applies) - Published price lists must be provided; pricing guaranteed for one year - Contract excludes Salt Lake City Department of Airports and the Community Reinvestment Agency - Award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder - City reserves the right to procure services from other sources during the contract term
