This opportunity seeks qualified environmental contractors to perform comprehensive soil and groundwater contamination sampling at Mount Washington State Park, New Hampshire. - Government Buyer: - New Hampshire Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (DNCR), Division of Parks and Recreation - Scope of Work: - Independent third-party environmental assessment as part of the Mount Washington Master Plan - Preparation of Sampling & Analysis Plan (SAP) and Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) compliant with EPA Region 1 and NHDES standards - Fieldwork including: - Inspection and servicing of existing groundwater well (including pump removal/replacement if needed) - Ten soil borings and collection of ten soil samples - Groundwater sampling using low-flow techniques - Well development, purging, and measurement of water levels - Site restoration and purge-water management (100–300 gallons, off-mountain disposal per Env-Or 600/610) - Laboratory analysis for: - Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) - Semi-Volatile Organic Compounds (SVOCs) - Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) - Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH) - Metals - Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS, EPA 1633 method) - Sample handling, preservation, transport, and chain-of-custody documentation - Comprehensive reporting including data validation, usability summary, draft, and final reports - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strict compliance with NHDES Env-Or 600/610, PFAS soil requirements, and EPA QA/R-5 - All purge-water handling, disposal, and related costs must be included in bids - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; open to all qualified environmental service providers - Quantities: - 10 soil borings and samples, 1 groundwater sampling event, 11 laboratory analyses per contaminant group, and 1 each for project management and reporting tasks

Description

The New Hampshire Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (DNCR), Division of Parks and Recreation, is soliciting bids for soil and groundwater contamination sampling at Mount Washington State Park. The project supports the Mount Washington Master Plan requirement for an independent third-party environmental assessment, including soil and groundwater investigations. The selected contractor will prepare all required sampling plans, conduct field sampling, utilize existing wells for groundwater sampling, perform laboratory analyses, and complete all associated reporting as outlined in the Scope of Work.
