The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service at Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge is seeking contractor services for preventive maintenance of two visitor center parking lots. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge, Visitor Center - Scope of Work: - Preventive maintenance for West Lot and RV Lot - Cleaning, crack sealing (approx. 3,900 LF West, 5,200 LF RV) - Single-coat sealcoating (approx. 26,000 sq ft West, 34,568 sq ft RV) - Restripe stalls, accessible parking, EV charging stalls, directional arrows, crosswalks, and no-parking zones - All pavement markings to comply with MUTCD and ADA standards - Products/Materials Requested: - Hot-pour rubberized asphalt crack sealant (ASTM D6690, Type II or III), approx. 9,100 linear feet - Mineral-filled asphalt emulsion pavement sealer, approx. 60,600 sq ft - Waterborne acrylic pavement marking paint - Services Requested: - Full-service parking lot preventive maintenance including labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals - Vegetation control, surface cleaning, crack filling, sealcoating, and restriping - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All materials must meet ASTM and federal standards (ASTM D6690 for crack sealant, MUTCD/ADA for striping) - Work must be scheduled during suitable weather and minimize operational disruptions - No specific OEMs or brand names are mandated; materials must meet referenced standards
