Description
The City of Camarillo is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide professional engineering services to update the Local Road Safety Plan (LRSP) for 2027. The update will incorporate FHWA Safe System Approach principles and support strategies to improve safety for all roadway users including pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users, motorists, school-aged children, older adults, and persons with disabilities. The updated plan aims to position the City for future federal and state transportation safety funding opportunities such as SS4A, HSIP, ATP, and CMAQ. Proposals must be submitted electronically by July 30, 2026, and the project is expected to start around September/October 2026.
