Description
The project involves replacing the extracorporeal lithotripter at the Royal Victoria Hospital, site Glen, with a system ESWL STORZ, model SLX-F2. The service performs exclusively extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL/SWL) treatments. The current volume is about five cases per day, with plans to increase to eight. The solution must support an efficient workflow, allow localization and tracking of the calculus during treatment, and ensure patient safety.
