Description

The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified suppliers for the provision of bomb suits for the Police Department. The bomb suits include a highly specialized helmet, jacket, and trousers designed to protect the user from hazards of an explosion such as heat, fragmentation, blunt force impacts, and blast pressure. The suits must meet or exceed the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) standard 0117.01 and be tested and approved by the Safety Equipment Institute. The bid opening will be conducted virtually on July 24, 2026, at 3:00 PM EST.
