The Defense Health Agency (DHA), through the Naval Medical Readiness and Training Command Portsmouth, is seeking OEM-certified maintenance services for Abiomed Impella perfusion pumps used in its Cardiology Department. - Government Buyer: - Department of Defense - Defense Health Agency - Naval Medical Readiness and Training Command, Portsmouth - OEM Highlight: - Abiomed is the specified Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the Impella perfusion pumps - Vendors/Providers: - Contractor must be an OEM-certified service provider authorized by Abiomed - Products/Services Requested: - Annual preventative maintenance for Abiomed Impella perfusion pumps - Depot-level corrective maintenance and repairs - Calibration and software updates - Provision of loaner units during repairs - Replacement parts management and detailed service reporting - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must be OEM-certified by Abiomed - All services must comply with OEM and regulatory standards - Loaner units must be provided during repairs to ensure uninterrupted clinical operations - Detailed service reporting and parts management are required - Period of Performance: - Base year with four option years (total potential duration: five years) - Annual maintenance to be completed prior to March 15 each fiscal year

DISCLAIMER: This is an RFI to identify potential sources possessing the capabilities described herein and ascertain whether the required services are commercial in nature. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. Neither unsolicited proposals nor any other kind of offers will be considered in response to this RFI. Responses to this notice are not offers and will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. In keeping with the standards of FAR Part 10, the Government may request additional information from responders. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI or any follow-up information request. All information received in response to this RFI or any follow-up information request that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. At this time, questions concerning the composition and requirements for a future request for proposal will not be entertained.

 RFI TITLE: Impella Perfusion Pump Maintenance Service for the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Medical Treatment Facility (MTF).

 LOCATION: Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Portsmouth, VA

3.0 BACKGROUND: The Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) Cardiology Department has a current contract for Impella Perfusion Pump Maintenance Service that is expiring on 30 September 2026 and requires a new contract.  The Perfusion Pump Maintenance Service needs to be serviced prior to 15 March, each fiscal year as needed by the Cardiology Department. 5.0 DESCRIPTION: See DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) NAICS 811210 – Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, PSC J065 maint/repair/rebuild of equipment – medical, dental, and veterinary equipment and supplies

- Existing contract vehicles (e.g., GSA schedule) under which the responder currently offers these services, if any.

- Whether the responder provides the required services to the general public under terms and conditions similar to those offered to the Federal Government.
