Description

The Government of Canada, through the National Research Council of Canada (NRC), is seeking proposals for a large clamshell observatory dome suitable for full sky tracking. The dome must have a freestanding base weighing less than 1,000 lbs, a side door at least 28” x 68”, usable interior height of at least 3.5 meters, diameter between 3.6 m and 4 m, and motorized opening with computer interfacing. This dome will enhance outdoor telescope experiments and research outcomes.
