Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), operated by the University of California for the Department of Energy, is seeking quotations for the purchase of an electric forklift truck. - Government Buyer: - University of California, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) Procurement Department - OEMs and Vendors: - Konecranes (OEM specified) - Equivalent products from other manufacturers are acceptable if all requirements are met - Products/Services Requested: - One (1) Konecranes E-VER 16-1200 C Electric Forklift Truck or equivalent - Fully electric drive system (no diesel or propane systems permitted) - Must meet EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standards - Equipped with CCS1 or CCS2 charging connector - Compliance with industry standards: Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, ISO 22915, EN ISO 3691-1, ISO 3046, EN 12895, EN 16842, EN 13059, EN 12053 - Must comply with all applicable U.S. federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations - Delivery required by August 2026 - Optional accessories or recommended equipment should be quoted separately - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Small business set-aside under NAICS code 333924 - Vendors must provide technical specifications, product literature, operator and maintenance manuals, warranty information, and documentation demonstrating compliance - Emphasis on sustainability and environmentally preferable products - Must comply with California off-road diesel fleet regulations (even though the forklift is electric) - Quotes must remain valid for 90 days from the due date

Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) is seeking quotations for the purchase of one (1) Konecranes E-VER 16-1200 C Electric Forklift Truck, or an equivalent product that meets or exceeds the minimum technical specifications listed below.

The forklift shall be configured with the following minimum requirements:

Minimum Technical Specifications

Manufacturer/Model: Konecranes E-VER 16-1200 C Electric Forklift Truck (or equivalent) Drive Train: Fully electric drive system. Secondary diesel or propane-powered systems are not acceptable. Engine/Emissions: Electric-powered unit compliant with EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standards, where applicable. Electrical Connection: Equipped with a CCS1 or CCS2 charging connector. Construction and Safety Standards: The equipment shall comply with the following applicable industry standards: Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC ISO 22915 (Industrial Truck Stability) EN ISO 3691-1 (Safety Requirements for Industrial Trucks) ISO 3046 (Engine Performance) EN 12895 (Electromagnetic Compatibility) EN 16842 (Operator Visibility) EN 13059 (Vibration) EN 12053 (Noise Emissions) Regulatory Compliance: The proposed equipment shall comply with all applicable U.S. federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations. Documentation: Supplier shall provide complete technical specifications, product literature, operator and maintenance manuals, warranty information, and documentation demonstrating compliance with the above standards. Warranty: Include the manufacturer's standard warranty. Extended warranty options, if available, should be quoted separately.

Quote Requirements

Vendors shall include the following information with their quotation:

Complete technical specifications of the proposed equipment. Confirmation of compliance with all minimum specifications listed above. Delivery lead time. Shipping terms. Country of origin. Warranty information. Any optional accessories or recommended equipment shall be quoted separately and clearly identified as optional.
