This opportunity involves a comprehensive paint and flooring repair project at Camp Lejeune, led by the U.S. Navy's ROICC Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Navy, ROICC Camp Lejeune, MCB Camp Lejeune - Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, Environmental Management Division - Marine Corps Air Station New River - Products and Materials Requested: - Paints and Coatings: - Multiple types including KILZ 2 primer, latex paints, Loxon masonry coating, mildew-resistant paints, and environmentally preferred products (MPI E1 rating) - Surface preparation materials: almandite garnet, castor oil, whiting putty, linseed oil putty, pigmented orange shellac, mineral spirits, trisodium phosphate, household detergent, sodium hypochlorite solution, wood filler, shellac varnish, patching plaster, spackling compound, hydrochloric acid, degreasing solvent - Flooring: - Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT): 6" x 48" tiles, 30 mil wear layer, 3.05 mm overall thickness, factory polyurethane-reinforced, meeting ASTM and flammability standards - Modular tile carpet: 24" x 24", TARR ≥ 3.0, static control, flammability, colorfastness, antimicrobial treatment, indoor air quality certifications (UL 2818 Gold, SCS Global, CRI GLP OM) - Carpet cushion: must meet critical radiant flux requirements - Epoxy resinous flooring for common areas and stairwells - Mouldings, adhesives, surface prep materials, polish/finish, caulking, and sealants as per manufacturer recommendations - Environmental and Hazardous Materials Services: - Environmental management, hazardous waste disposal, contractor training, contingency planning, and waste management inspection - Lead paint scraping and encapsulation with hazardous materials plan - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Strict adherence to environmental and indoor air quality standards (e.g., MPI E1, CDPH 01350, ASTM, UL, SCS, CRI certifications) - Provision of extra carpet tiles for future maintenance and a recycling/reuse maintenance service agreement - Flooring and paint products must meet specific performance, safety, and sustainability criteria - Only pre-approved contractors may submit proposals; hazardous materials and lead paint handling plans required - Contract value estimated between $1M and $5M, with a 720-day period of performance
