This opportunity is for the comprehensive rehabilitation and upgrade of the South Park (Fairplay) Office at Pike National Forest, managed by the USDA Forest Service. - Government Buyer: - USDA Forest Service, South Park Ranger District (Pike & San Isabel National Forests, Cimarron & Comanche National Grasslands) - Scope of Work: - Removal and installation of a new standing seam metal roof (24 gauge metallic-coated steel, fluoropolymer finish) - Installation of a complete roof, valley, gutter, and downspout ice/snow melt system (including electric heat panels, UL-listed heater cables, controls, and sensors) - Interior and exterior modifications: - Remove and install carpet tiles (24x24 inch modular, 10-year warranty) - Replace stained/damaged acoustical panels and ceiling tiles (glass-fiber, Class A, 25-year warranty) - Seal windows and install new insulation in dropped ceiling and attic - Electrical and telecom upgrades: - Install 8 additional communication outlets (Cat 6 cabling, TIA/EIA compliant) - Provide all associated electrical circuits and materials (NEC/UL compliant) - Security and access improvements: - Install galvanized steel chain link fence (165 linear feet), pedestrian and vehicle gates (with mechanical lock, motorized operator, keypad, card reader, and safety systems) - Concrete mounting pads and electrical connections for gates - Products/Materials Requested: - Standing seam metal roof panels - Roof snow and ice melt system components - Acoustical ceiling panels and tiles - Carpet tiles - Electrical and telecom materials (Cat 6 cable, raceways, connectors, etc.) - Chain link fence and gate systems - Building insulation (including attic insulation, part number 7540-01-152-8067) - Sheet waterproofing, weather barriers, gutters, downspouts, roof curbs - Notable Requirements: - All labor, materials, equipment, and utilities to be provided by contractor - Compliance with Buy American Act and Davis Bacon wage requirements - Minimize telecom downtime; no weekend or holiday work - Performance and payment bonds required - Construction must be completed within 120 calendar days after notice to proceed - OEMs/Vendors: - No specific OEMs or brands are mandated; products must meet specified technical and warranty standards

Description

Work for this project requires the contractor to be responsible for supplying all labor, materials, equipment, utilities, miscellaneous items, freight and delivery for the following: 1. Remove and install new standing seam metal roof; including underlayment, ridge vent, flashing, drip edge, roof curbs, crickets, gutters, and downspouts. 2. Install roof, valley, gutter, and downspout ice/snow melt system including electrical circuits. 3. Interior and exterior modifications including remove carpet and install carpet tiles, replace stained and damaged acoustical panels and ceiling tiles, and seal windows. Also, install new insulation in the areas where the ceiling is dropped. 4. Install additional communication outlets and electrical for telecom. 5. Install chain link fence, personnel gate, motorized gate, and associated electrical and safeties.
