Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) issued by the Alliance for Energy Innovation, LLC (Alliance). The purpose of this SSN is to conduct market research and gather information on the current capabilities of potential sources to provide entrepreneurial consulting services related to the American Made program. In 2018, the U.S. Department of Energy established the American-Made program to offer prizes and competitions as a government funding mechanism in addition to traditional funding options like grants. The American-Made program is a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)-funded program that works to advance domestic energy innovation.
The project objective, at a high level, aims to develop clear educational programming that is available to all prize participants encouraging them to engage with other innovation programs outside of American-Made to continue to develop their innovative solutions. This may include federal or state programs, corporate innovation programs, or other private support programs. The goal of this project is to support organizations within the American-Made ecosystem to continue their innovations by connecting them to programs that offer pilot demonstration sites or programs that purchase newly or nearly commercialized products.
