Description

The Glen Cove Avenue Retaining Wall project involves the removal of an existing stacked stone wall and replacement with a new 400-feet reinforced concrete wall. Temporary sheeting will be required behind the new wall. A new ADA compliant sidewalk and chain link fence will be placed along the entire length including the wall section to remain. The project also includes tapered high curbs, new sidewalks, fences, small walls bordering private properties, removal and trimming of trees, minor grade restoration, and relocation of utility poles and a fire hydrant by their owners prior to construction. The contract term is 270 calendar days with a Notice to Proceed expected in the 3rd Quarter of 2027.
