Description
Pierce County is seeking a Geotechnical Engineering firm to locate, document, and assess hidden, obscured, and buried flood risk reduction assets such as revetments and levee features along selected segments of the Puyallup and White Rivers. The work involves using geophysical and non-destructive methods including ground-penetrating radar, electromagnetic surveying, seismic refraction, and LiDAR interpretation. The consultant will map and geolocate assets with GIS data and prepare detailed reports and datasets. The project aims to better understand flood risks by assessing over 70 miles of flood risk reduction infrastructure that has been obscured or buried over time.
