This opportunity seeks a qualified operator to manage and operate the Lake Siskiyou Camp Resort, a 270-acre public recreation facility in Mt. Shasta, California. - Government Buyer: - Siskiyou County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (General Services, Board of Directors) - Scope of Work: - Full management and daily operations of the Lake Siskiyou Camp Resort - Maintenance and capital improvements for over 380 campsites (RV, tent, park model rentals), cabins, houses, group sites, and recreational facilities - Operation of the general store, restaurant, marina, and waterfront amenities - Management of on-site water and sewage systems, roads, buildings, and snow removal - Ensuring public access during winter months - Compliance with Davis-Grunsky Act and flood control mandates - Products/Services Requested: - Facility operation and management services (1 contract) - Management of a wide range of accommodations and amenities, including: - Large and small cabins, houses, BBQ areas, rec room, RV sites (FHU 30/50amp, pull-thru, lakefront, premium), walkup and group campsites - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Proposers must submit a competitive franchise fee (royalty) structure - A 5-year capital investment plan for facility upgrades is required - Demonstrated experience with state-funded facilities, utility management, water system certifications, and emergency response planning - Financial capability to operate and invest in the facility - OEMs/Vendors: - No specific OEMs or product manufacturers are named in the solicitation - Pricing: - Attachment includes current and adjusted daily rates for all accommodation types and amenities - Contract Term: - Initial 30-year contract with options for two additional 10-year extensions - Phased transition period prior to full assumption of operations

The Siskiyou County Flood Control and Water Conservation District is seeking proposals from qualified professional operators to manage the Lake Siskiyou Camp Resort. The selected operator will be responsible for day-to-day operations, maintenance, and capital improvements of the 270-acre camp resort located in Mt. Shasta, CA. The primary objective is to provide high-quality, accessible public recreation while maintaining the facility in accordance with the Davis-Grunsky Act and the District's flood control mandates. The contract term is for 30 years with options for two additional ten-year extensions.
