Description

The City of Berkeley is soliciting written proposals from qualified firms or individuals for various public safety technologies including Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR), Fixed Video Surveillance Cameras (Pan-Tilt-Zoom), Drone as First Responder (DFR), Field-Deployed Drones (Unmanned Aerial Systems), Community Video Stream Integration, and Investigative Software. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) where price and other factors will be considered. Proposals must be submitted via email by 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 20, 2026, and should include separate technical and pricing proposals. The City may award contracts for individual technology areas or combinations thereof and retains the right to award to multiple bidders or not at all.
