The U.S. Navy's Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) office is seeking qualified firms for the production, manufacturing, analysis, and testing of TRIDENT II (D5) MK6 MOD1 Guidance System accelerometers. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Navy, Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Portfolio Acquisition Executive - Products/Services Requested: - Manufacture and test of TRIDENT II (D5) MK6 MOD1 Guidance Subsystem accelerometers - Includes design, analysis, test, procurement, and manufacturing of inertial sensors and consumable materials per approved drawings - 20 full-time personnel required on-site in Cambridge, MA, Pittsfield, MA, or Clearwater, FL - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named, but firms must demonstrate extensive experience in strategic guidance systems and inertial sensor manufacturing - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Cost Plus Incentive Fee term contract - Base period of performance is three years, with a one-year option period - On-site personnel required at specified locations - Emphasis on experience with strategic guidance systems and inertial sensor manufacturing
