Description
Case Western Reserve University has completed an inventory of human remains in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The inventory identified at least 29 individuals with cultural affiliation to Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. The remains were donated in 1931 and originate from locations in Alaska. Repatriation of the human remains may occur on or after August 7, 2026, and requests for repatriation must be sent to the university's authorized representative.
