The City of Georgetown, Texas is seeking qualified vendors to provide Electric Overhead and Underground Construction and Maintenance Services for its municipal electric distribution system. - Government Buyer: - City of Georgetown, Texas (Purchasing Department) - Scope of Work: - Comprehensive construction and maintenance services for electric distribution lines, including both overhead and underground systems - Work includes installation, removal, and maintenance of: - Transformers (various kVA ratings and phases, e.g., DVG110-5, SVG110-25, DVG310-100kVA) - Conductors (#1/0 ACSR, #336 AAC, #4/0 TPLX, etc.) - Poles (wood, concrete, steel, ductile iron, fiberglass) - Framing, fusing, switches, reclosers, capacitor banks, down guys, arresters, metering units, street lighting, conduit, pad units, pad-mounted transformers, and underground units - Services are provided on an assembly unit or hourly rate basis - Notable Requirements: - Vendors must have at least two years of experience in underground electric distribution construction - Demonstrated technical knowledge, safety programs, and financial capacity are required - Compliance with all federal, state, and local laws - Insurance, bonds, and references required - Electronic bid submission through the city's e-bid system - Non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting offered - Products/Services Requested: - Detailed line items for each electric infrastructure component, with part numbers and descriptions provided - No specific OEMs are named; part numbers (e.g., DVG110-5, SVG110-25) and technical specifications are provided for all requested products and assemblies - Contract Structure: - Initial term of three years, with up to two optional one-year renewals (maximum five years) - Price adjustments at renewal based on CPI, capped at 5% per period - Month-to-month extension possible if a new agreement is not executed at the anniversary date
