Description
The City of Elgin, Illinois is soliciting sealed bids electronically for the 2026 Various West-Side Resurfacing project. The scope includes street resurfacing activities such as grinding, pavement patching, concrete curb and gutter and sidewalk removal and replacement, structure adjustments, HMA binder and surface pavement courses, landscape restoration, and related appurtenant work. Additional work includes earth excavation, aggregate base, base repair, topsoil and sod, pavement markings, detector loop replacement, and all other necessary work to complete the project. Bidders must submit a bid bond equal to 5% of the bid amount and comply with labor standards including prevailing wage requirements and provide certified payrolls.
