Description
Stony Brook University Hospital intends to purchase Stryker's Hospital Prime Stretchers from a contract awarded by a consortium (GPO) pursuant to its authority under section 163(3)(vi), which authorizes the purchase of commodities from a consortium or comparable entity without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors offering equivalent Hospital Prime Stretchers may contact the primary contact and must demonstrate equivalency by meeting clinical performance and KPIs, providing supporting clinical documentation, and equipment for examination, demonstration, and trial. Vendors must be authorized by the OEM to sell their products as listed on the GPO contract or an approved equivalent. The procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §139 j&k (Lobbying Law), and only the designated contact may be approached regarding this procurement.
