Description
The City of Duluth is seeking a contractor to perform interior demolition and improvements at a decommissioned water booster pumping station building located at 2407 Main Street, Duluth, GA. The scope includes removal and proper disposal of pumping equipment, above grade piping and conduits, installation of blind flanges on walls, filling floor pipes and bulkhead with concrete flush to the floor, removal and replacement of transformers, removal of electrical switchgear, VFDs, control panel and associated conduit and wiring, removal of electrical equipment pads and conduits, and refinishing of damaged floors. Proposals are due by August 19, 2026, and a mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for August 5, 2026, at the project site.
