NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE  

cleanLASER CL 1000 Beam Switch Laser System

8 July 2026

The 700th Contracting Squadron, Kapaun Air Station, Bldg. 2767, D-67661 Kaiserslautern, hereby formally announces the intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order on a sole source basis to Adapt Laser Systems, LLC, 1218 Guinotte, Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64120, USA. The proposed contract action is for one (1) cleanLASER CL 1000 Beam Switch Laser System (please see attached minimum requirements), for which the Air Force intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of RFO 12.201-1, Simplified Procedures (41 U.S.C. 1901). Under the contemplated contract, Adapt Laser Systems, LLC, 1218 Guinotte, Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64120, USA, will provide one (1) cleanLASER CL 1000 Beam Switch Laser System in accordance with the attached minimum requirements. Adapt Laser Systems, LLC, is the sole distributor of cleanLASER products for North America.

Companies may identify their interest by responding to this notice and submitting either a capability statement or an unsolicited quote. Responses to this notice, as well as capability statements and unsolicited quotes must be submitted to beatrice.meier.1.de@us.af.mil. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote. However, all unsolicited quotes received within 7 (seven) business days (by 23.59 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time, 17 July 2026) after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government to compete, or not, will be based on the responses received, and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered only for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this announcement. However, 700 CONS reserves the right to contact one or more of the respondents if additional information is required or to request demonstrations. Responses to this announcement will not be returned, nor will there be any ensuing interchanges or debriefings for any responses. However, information obtained as a result of this announcement may be reflected in the subsequent solicitation, if issued.
