Description

Correctional Service Canada (CSC) requires Elder programming to support Indigenous offenders, including traditional ceremonies, teachings, and counselling. The Elder Helper will assist Indigenous offenders with traditional healing practices, support Elders during ceremonies, conduct group discussions, prepare reports, provide counselling, and participate in cultural awareness sessions. Services are to be provided in the Ontario Region with valid security clearance and adherence to specified reporting and communication protocols. The procurement is set aside for Indigenous Suppliers under the PSIB and is not subject to trade or land claims agreements.
