The U.S. Embassy Kathmandu, under the Department of State, is seeking a contractor for the supply, installation, and commissioning of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems at its facility in Nepal. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of State, American Embassy Kathmandu, General Services Officer (Sanju Gurung) - OEMs and Vendors: - Eaton (OEM specified; contractor must be Eaton-authorized) - Products Requested: - Two Eaton 9355 15kVA Tower UPS units or equivalent - Part number: Eaton 9355 15kVA Tower UPS - Internal battery cabinets - Parallel configuration capability - Seismic mounting kits - All necessary cables, breakers, and accessories - Services Requested: - Complete supply, installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, training, and documentation for the UPS systems - Includes power quality analysis, site inspection, seismic mounting, load connection, monitoring setup, and staff training - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must be Eaton-authorized and have experience with similar installations - Equipment must be installed in parallel configuration with seismic mounting - VAT charged separately - Firm fixed price contract with a one-year base period and four one-year options - Procurement within 60 days of award; installation and commissioning within 30 days of delivery; total performance period not to exceed 120 days from contract award
