THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSAL. PHNSY & IMF IS NOT SEEKING PRICING OR OFFERS.

The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is issuing this sources sought as a means of conducting market research to seek eligible contractors who are interested and capable of providing hot oil flushing on the External Hydraulics System onboard a Los Angeles-class submarine in accordance with the Statement of Work.

Note: Interested parties must be able to provide and operate the necessary equipment to perform the hot oil flush within the parameters, conditions, and standards found within the Statement of Work and Reference 2.5 attached.

The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611 – Ship Building and Repairing. The Product Service Code (PSC) is J020 – Maintenance, Repair and Rebuilding of Equipment-Ship Repair and Marine Equipment.

This request for capability information does not constitute as a request for proposals. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. To be evaluated for technical merit and capability, statements must be received by the stated deadline. In determining whether or not to compete this requirement, the Government has sole discretion.
