The U.S. Embassy in Panama is seeking suppliers for a wide range of construction and electrical materials to support facility upgrades and maintenance. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Embassy Panama City, Department of State - Products Requested: - Construction materials: cement (160 bags), tiles (gray, non-slip, porcelain), steel and brass angles, wood, granite countertops, bathroom partitions, doors (metal, security, glass), paint (anti-corrosive, acrylic, primer), adhesives, and various hardware (hinges, locks, screws, anchors) - Electrical materials: panelboards, busbar modules, breakers (various amperages), safety switches, receptacles, cover plates, switches, LED light fixtures, emergency lights, exhaust fans, voltage protectors, condensate pumps, junction boxes, electrical conduits (PVC, various sizes), cable (THHN, copper, rubber cord), warning tape, wire nuts, fish tape, meters, gloves, cable strippers, knockout punches, wrenches, pliers - HVAC: 12,000 Btu conventional air conditioner (1 unit), 24,000 Btu inverter air conditioners (4 units) - Fire safety: Type K chemical fire extinguishers (6 units), ABC dry powder fire extinguishers (3 units) - Quantities: - Ranging from single units (e.g., faucets, laundry tubs) to bulk items (e.g., 200 tile adhesive, 300 electrical tape, 500 screws) - Unique Requirements: - All equipment must be new and unused; no grey market or refurbished items permitted - Offerors must provide catalogs, brand names, manufacturer numbers, and specifications for all items - Standard warranty required for applicable items (e.g., air conditioners) - Delivery is phased: some items required within 15 days of award, others within 35 days after first delivery - Delivery location: Santa Maria, Divisa, Republic of Panama - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or brands are named; offerors may propose suitable manufacturers - Evaluation: - Award to lowest-priced, technically acceptable offeror; partial bids may be considered if no complete, technically acceptable bids are received

Description

The U.S. Embassy in Panamá has a requirement to purchase CONSTRUCTION & ELECTRICAL MATERIALS. Please note that this is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item, prepared in accordance with the format FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued.

F.O.B. Destination: District of Santa Maria, Divisa, Republic of Panama, Central America. 

Delivery date: 15 Days after award; as per delivery instructions stated below.  

Set Aside: No set aside or small business standard applies to this acquisition.

Additional Requirements:

Warranty: Awarded Contractor will provide US Embassy Panama City with a description of the Standard Warranty conditions and expiration date; applicable for certain items including air conditioners. Specifications/ datasheet: Offerors must present catalog, brand name, manufacturer number and/or specifications of the equipment offered. New equipment ONLY, NO grey market or refurbished products. Items never used nor altered in any way. This Request for Quotation (RFQ) does not commit the U.S. Government to make any award, and the U.S. Government may cancel this RFQ or any part of it. Award will be made to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offeror. The Government will evaluate complete bids first. If no complete, technically acceptable bids are received, the Government reserves the right to evaluate partial bids and make award on a lowest-priced, technically acceptable line-item basis.
