Description

The Govermnet speficially the NAVSUP Weapons System Support (WSS) Nuclear Reactor Supply Chain Management Directorate, has a continuing need for various competitively procured material referred to as Chemicals and Chemical Analysis Instruments. The material is used to support the secondary system of the Navy's nuclear reactors. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) Codes for these items are 6810. The NAICS code is 325199. The size standard is 1250 employees. Subject Chemicals and Chemical Analysis Instruments are purchased via a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) established Februrary 2017 and expiring February 2022. The totall value for the current BPA is $6.5 Million.

Based on historical data, the Directorate anticipates issuing delivery orders, totaling approximately $8.0 million during the upcoming 5 years for commercial and non-commercial items. At this time the Government is seeking to issue a new BPAs for FCS 6810.

It is in the best interest of the Government to establish BPAs with multiple suppliers in order to provide maximum practicable competition. No solicitation will be issued as a result of this notice. However, interested small business concerns can view the attached Request for Information (RFI) to determine if its capabilities meet the technical and quality requirements necessary for the manufacture of this complex and critically applied nuclear material.
