The Air Mobility Command (AMC) Aircrew Training & Tactics Division is seeking a contractor to provide specialized B737-8 MAX Differences Training for Air Force pilots, supporting the executive airlift community: - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, Air Mobility Command (AMC), Aircrew Training & Tactics Division (AMC/A3T), and 763rd Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (763 ESS) - OEM Highlight: - Boeing is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the B737-8 MAX aircraft - Vendors/Providers: - Contractor must be a Title 14 CFR Part 142 approved training center - Products/Services Requested: - B737-8 MAX Differences Training Course for approximately 12-15 pilots - Academic classroom instruction - Simulator sessions using FAA-certified Level D, Category IIIa capable B737-8 MAX Full Flight Simulator - Use of USAF cockpit procedures and checklists - Pre-brief and post-debrief sessions - Certified type rated B737-8 MAX, UPRT qualified pilot instructors (minimum one-year prior experience) - Most current Computer Based Training (CBT) courseware compatible with government PC systems and handheld devices - Course syllabi, student critiques, failure notifications, and training accomplishment reports - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Training must be conducted at the contractor's facility (no contractor travel required) - Simulator must be FAA-certified Level D and CAT IIIa capable - Instructors must be certified IAW 14 CFR Part 142 and have B737-8 MAX experience - Training tailored for experienced Air Force 737 pilots transitioning to the B737-8 MAX - NAICS code 611512 (Flight Training) - Estimated number of pilots to be trained: 12-15
Description
Headquarters Air Mobility Command (HQ AMC) Directorate of Air, Space, and Information Operations (A3) Aircrew Training Division (T) requires immediate, specialized flight training services to support the rapid fielding and safe operation of a Boeing 737-8 MAX (B737-8 MAX) aircraft. The contractor shall provide comprehensive "differences training" to qualify existing, experienced Air Force 737 pilots on the new B737-8 MAX airframe. This commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) training must be conducted at a Title 14 CFR Part 142 approved training center and includes a combination of academic classroom instruction and hands-on practice utilizing a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-certified high-fidelity Full Flight Simulator. The contractor will provide all necessary facilities, simulator time, and certified instructors to rapidly qualify the aircrews.
Place of Performance: B737 training shall be conducted at the contractor’s facility.
