The City of Riverside Public Utilities, Energy Delivery Division, is seeking qualified contractors for the Hunter Substation Circuit 21 and 22 4KV-12KV Make-Ready project. - Government Buyer: - City of Riverside Public Utilities, Energy Delivery Division - Scope of Work: - Furnish and install approximately 2,150 trench feet for conduit installation - Install over 12,000 linear feet of various sizes and types of conduit: - 3-inch, 4-inch, and 5-inch SCH40 and S40E conduit - Furnish and install: - 3 prefabricated underground vaults - 1 underground pull box - 1 transformer pad - 1 pad-mounted switch enclosure vault - 1 pad-mounted junction cabinet slab box - Perform asphalt and concrete restoration, including: - Grinding and capping over 26,000 square feet - Removing and replacing concrete sidewalks, driveways, and cross gutters - Provide all necessary equipment, tools, labor, materials, and incidentals - Notable Requirements: - Contractors must meet licensing, experience, and safety requirements, including Qualified Electrical Worker standards - Bid bond of at least 10% of proposal amount from a corporate surety admitted in California with an A:7 rating - Adherence to sustainability practices and best management practices for construction - Strict communication protocols via the City’s PlanetBids Vendor Portal - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; opportunity is open to qualified contractors - Products/Services Requested: - All conduit, vaults, pads, boxes, and associated installation and restoration services as detailed above
