Description

This final rule airworthiness directive (AD) applies to all Airbus Canada Limited Partnership Model BD5001A10 and BD5001A11 airplanes. It addresses an unsafe condition caused by missing or broken high pressure valve (HPV) butterfly clips, which may lead to bleed leaks, overheat conditions, and degradation of valve sealing function. The AD is effective July 7, 2026, and comments are invited until August 21, 2026.
