The Department of Transportation's Maritime Administration (MARAD) is seeking public comments on a request to use a foreign-built small passenger vessel, M/V DEUCE, in the United States coastwise trade. The vessel carries no more than twelve passengers for hire. MARAD will determine if the proposed use adversely affects U.S. vessel builders or U.S. coastwise trade businesses that use U.S.-built vessels.
