Description
The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone in certain navigable waters of Monroe Harbor and Lake Michigan to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from hazards related to a fireworks display and drone show. The safety zone prohibits persons and vessels from entering unless authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Lake Michigan. This temporary final rule is effective from 8:45 p.m. through 9:30 p.m. on July 10, 2026. The zone covers specific coordinates encompassing the hazard and fallout areas of the events.
