Description

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for navigable waters near Elba Island Cut on the Savannah River, Savannah, GA. This safety zone is necessary to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards related to the installation of submerged dredge pipelines. Entry into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port Savannah or their designated representative. The safety zone will be enforced from July 6, 2026, through July 17, 2026, with actual notice used from June 30, 2026, through July 6, 2026.
