Description

This contract is comprised of installing utility lines, connections to existing lines and connections to trailer pads. Utilities included are electrical, water and sewer. Option items included are trenching, providing and spreading gravel and installation of an asphalt apron. Water and Sewer lines and connections must be kept 10ft apart. Contractor must work with and is responsible for all communications, supplies and permits with utility companies associated. All utilities will be installed in compliance with State and/or San Juan County code.

Utilities –

Water - The new water line will be connected to the existing water line between the meter and bunkhouse. Main water line will remain same size as existing line. Existing line is a 2” poly line. New water line will be a 2” HDPE blue Poly and connect to existing. One stop and waste to be installed within 5ft of new and existing line connection.

Sewer – The new sewer line will be connected to the existing sewer line at the bunkhouse. Main line will be 6” with trailer connections being 6” to 3” Wye’s. Drainage must remain between 1/8” – ¼” per ft across the entirety of the line. Must meet state code.

Electrical – A transformer and drop-down meter will need to be coordinated and installed with Empire Electric and conduit and wiring ran from meter to the trailer pads. Contractor will be responsible for determining sizing of conduit and wiring. Must meet state code.

Option Items –

Trenching and Backfilling – Trenching will need to be 36” deep to meet frost line requirements.

                      Crushed Aggregate – Grade G Road Base for the trailer pads and roadway
