The BC Timber Sales Branch, Okanagan-Columbia Business Area, is inviting tenders for mechanical site preparation services in the South Zone. - Scope covers approximately 169.4 hectares across 7 cutblocks - Services required: - Disc trenching - Mounding - Screefing - Equipment requirements: - 38,000 to 45,000 lb. excavator with rake (minimum 20cm front tines), bucket, and hydraulic thumb - Trenching must be performed by a D7 Cat dozer or an equivalent machine approved by the Ministry - Skidder trenching is not permitted - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - All work must be completed before the contract deadline - Opportunity is subject to trade agreements such as the New West Partnership Trade Agreement and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement
