Garland Power & Light is seeking bids for a comprehensive supply of transmission hardware and materials for the Miller-Newman Transmission Line project. - Government Buyer: - Garland Power & Light (City of Garland Procurement & Contract Administration) - OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) specified: - Hughes Brothers - Hubbell - AFL - PLP (Preformed Line Products) - Aluma-Form - Burndy - Everlast - Uticom Systems Inc. - Dottie - Thomas & Betts - Products/Materials Requested: - Deadend tees, threaded rods (various lengths), locknuts, washers (round and split), square nuts - Turnbuckles, polymer and post insulators (various sizes and strengths), clevises, clamps (suspension, armor-grip, aluminum) - Dampers (multiple diameter ranges), conductors (including 63,360 feet of 1931-TS Oxford M3), OPGW (Optical Ground Wire) components (downlead clamps, splice enclosures, connector kits, protection sleeves, coil brackets) - Shackles, grounding shunts, bonding wire assemblies, chain links, vibration dampers, line guards, full tension splices, compression deadends - Surveillance numbers (aerial and ground), phasing markers, aluminum holders, buckles, bolts, nuts, washers, and other transmission line hardware - Notable Requirements: - All materials must be new, unused, and match specified manufacturers, brands, and part numbers - No substitutions allowed unless pre-approved in writing by the engineer - Vendors must provide documentation (packing slips, certifications, manufacturer info, warranties) and replace any damaged or defective materials at no cost - Delivery must be coordinated with the Owner's Material Coordinator; partial shipments must be clearly identified - Bids must be complete and submitted electronically; incomplete bids will be deemed non-responsive

The City of Garland is soliciting bids for the Miller - Newman Transmission Line - Material project.
