Description
Brevard County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting proposals for fully insured Group Term Life, AD&D, STD, and LTD coverage, currently provided by Standard Insurance Company. The solicitation aims to expand voluntary employee-paid benefits to include group-sponsored Accident, Hospital Indemnity, and Critical Illness/Cancer coverage, which are currently offered individually through other providers. The County plans to contract with one carrier/administrator for all lines starting January 1, 2027. Employees enrolled in individual plans may continue on a direct-bill basis, but payroll deductions and group administration will only apply to the awarded group-sponsored benefits.
