DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
The work includes removal of (4) facilities from the building A6 steam supply system. The (4) buildings being taken off of steam service (23A, 43, 44, and 49) shall have their steam to heating hotwater exchangers removed and natural gas boilers provided in their place. Building B23A shall also have its domestic hot water heaters replaced.
Work includes the trenching and backfilling for the installation of gas piping to each of four buildings, restoration of paving due to gas piping installation, The contractor shall be responsible for connecting to the utility meter and provide gas distribution to the installed boilers.
