Los Angeles County is seeking qualified vendors to provide comprehensive ergonomic evaluation consulting services for approximately 3,500 employees across office, field, and vehicle environments. - Government Buyer: - County of Los Angeles Internal Services Department - County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works - Scope of Services: - Ergonomic evaluations for office, worksite, and vehicle environments - Priority-based assessments: - Priority One: Post-injury (2-hour evaluation, rapid response within two business days) - Priority Two: Early intervention (1.5–2 hours, response within five business days) - Priority Three: Routine/new employee or workstation change (45–60 minutes, response within seven business days) - Follow-up evaluations (45–60 minutes) - Worksite/vehicle ergonomic evaluations (2 hours) - Formal reports required for each evaluation, including employee/job details, workstation descriptions, discomforts/issues, before/after photos, adjustments, measurements, recommendations, and executive summaries - Brief email reports to project manager within 24 hours for Priority Two and Three evaluations - Unique Requirements: - Vendors must be able to serve all County locations, including remote areas (e.g., Lancaster, Palmdale, Malibu) - Evaluators must hold specific certifications: Registered Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Certified Industrial Ergonomist, Certified Professional Ergonomist, or Certified Safety Professional with five years of experience - Insurance coverage and compliance with County purchasing forms - Electronic submission of signed reports - Vendor availability for 8–10 hours per day during normal operating hours (Monday–Friday, 6:30am–5:45pm) - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; solicitation is open to qualified providers - Estimated contract duration: Initial three-year term with up to four one-year extensions
