Description

The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) is seeking applications from local municipal police or sheriff's agencies in New York State, excluding New York City, to fund law enforcement technologies and applicable software/equipment. Approximately $75,000,000 is expected to be made available to support law enforcement efforts in creating safe and vibrant communities. Applicants should demonstrate how their proposed equipment supports crime prevention and solving, particularly violent crimes by firearms and crimes of community concern, and integrates with community engagement strategies. Each eligible agency may submit one application, with a contract term from January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2028.
