This opportunity is issued by the City of El Monte's Community & Economic Development Department to secure temporary emergency lodging services for homeless and at-risk individuals. - Government Buyer: - City of El Monte, Community & Economic Development Department, Housing Division - Scope of Services: - Provision of temporary and/or emergency overnight shelter services for persons experiencing homelessness or at-risk of homelessness - Services to be delivered by local hotels, motels, lodges, or similar entities - Includes habitable rooms, ADA compliance, 24-hour staff availability, reservation/tracking system, minimum room availability for one-week stays, early check-in/late check-out, no deposits, cleaning, utilities, supplies, pest control, laundry, toiletries, parking, and pet accommodations - All-inclusive daily and weekly room rates required - Funding & Contract Details: - Funded by Los Angeles County Department of Homeless Services and Housing via Measure A Local Solution Funds - Initial contract term of approximately 12 months, with options for up to two additional one-year extensions - Estimated annual allocation: $160,154 - Unique Requirements: - Providers must comply with ADA and all relevant laws - Must offer 24/7 onsite staff and maintain a minimum of three rooms for one-week stays - Must accept all referrals from the City, provide early check-in/late check-out, and accommodate pets - No specific OEMs or named vendors; open to qualified local shelter service providers - Proposal Details: - Pricing proposals must be all-inclusive - Proposals may be sub-divided or combined at the City's discretion - Requirements for insurance, licensing, and compliance with city and county funding agreements - Background/experience, conflict of interest disclosure, and certifications required - Submission: - Open to electronic and paper submissions - No restrictions on bidder type

The City of El Monte, on behalf of the Community & Economic Development Department, is soliciting proposals from qualified local hotels, motels, lodges, and other entities to provide temporary and/or emergency overnight shelter services for persons experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. The services will be funded through Los Angeles County Department of Homeless Services and Housing via Local Solution Funds from Measure A. The scope includes provision of temporary emergency lodging services for homeless or at-risk individuals in the City.
