Description
The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone in certain navigable waters of Monroe Harbor and Lake Michigan to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from hazards related to a fireworks display and drone show. The safety zone prohibits persons and vessels from entering unless authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Lake Michigan. The safety zone is effective from 8:45 p.m. through 9:30 p.m. on July 10, 2026. This measure is necessary to ensure safety during the concurrent events of the fireworks and drone displays.
