The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is seeking public and federal agency comments on information collections as part of its effort to reduce paperwork burdens under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. The FCC requests feedback on the necessity, accuracy, quality, utility, clarity, and burden minimization of the information collection, including the use of automated techniques and ways to reduce burden on small businesses with fewer than 25 employees. The FCC cannot conduct or sponsor information collection without a valid Office of Management and Budget (OMB) control number, and no penalties apply for noncompliance with collections lacking such a number. Comments are due by September 4, 2026.
