Description

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone in the navigable waters of San Francisco Bay, California, on July 4, 2026, to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from hazards associated with an over water fireworks display. The safety zone covers all waters within a 1,200-yard radius of specified barge zones and the Golden Gate Bridge. Entry into the zone is prohibited unless authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector San Francisco, or their designated representative. The safety zone will be enforced from 4 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. on the event day.
