Description
The United States International Trade Commission has instituted preliminary phase antidumping and countervailing duty investigations to determine if imports of glyphosate from China are causing material injury or threat to the U.S. industry. The investigations are pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 and concern imports alleged to be sold at less than fair value and subsidized by the Chinese government. The Commission must reach a preliminary determination by August 14, 2026, and transmit its views to the Department of Commerce by August 21, 2026. The investigations were initiated in response to petitions filed by Monsanto Company and its subsidiary Ruveon LLC.
