Purpose The purpose of requirement is for procuring medical grade instruments to support dermatologic surgical procedures performed in the MOHS Clinic at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center. Statement of Requirement Medical Grade Instruments for MOHS Clinic Procedure Room Purpose The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to define the requirements for procuring medical grade instruments to support dermatologic surgical procedures performed in the MOHS Clinic at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center. These instruments are essential to ensure safe, sterile, and efficient procedural operations for the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers. Background The MOHS Clinic performs tissue-sparing surgical procedures that require precision, sterility, and specialized instrumentation. Current equipment is either outdated, incomplete, or insufficient to meet procedural demands. Updated medical grade instruments are required to maintain clinical readiness, support patient safety, and comply with VA, Joint Commission, and infection control standards. Scope of Work The contractor shall provide medical grade surgical instruments suitable for dermatologic and MOHS micrographic procedures. Items must meet all specifications outlined in Section 5 and be compatible with VA sterile processing (SPS) protocols. Deliverables Delivery of specified instruments. Manufacturer documentation for cleaning, sterilization, and maintenance. Warranty information. Replacement or correction of any damaged or non-conforming items upon receipt.
