Description
The Fair Housing Initiatives Program (FHIP) Education and Outreach Initiative (EOI) provides competitive awards to eligible nonprofit and other fair housing organizations to develop and carry out coordinated education and outreach efforts and media products. The initiative aims to inform individuals, communities, housing providers, and other stakeholders about their fair housing rights and obligations under the Fair Housing Act. The program includes two components: a National Media Campaign and a General Component supporting regional, local, and community education and outreach activities. Funding is provided through grants and cooperative agreements with HUD oversight and involvement.
